The Kidilist application, published by AppnDigital (hereinafter "we" or "us"), attaches major importance to the protection and respect of your privacy. This policy aims to inform you of our practices regarding the collection, use, and sharing of information that you may provide to us through our application.

1. The data we collect

By using our application, you may transmit information to us, some of which may identify you ("Personal Data"). This is particularly the case when you:

  • Create a user account (Email address, password, name).
  • Create profiles for your children (First name, date of birth/event).
  • Add gift ideas and photos.
  • Interact with the Artificial Intelligence service (toy images sent for analysis).

2. Use of data

We use the data we collect to:

  • Execute the contracts concluded between you and us (provision of the gift list service).
  • Allow you to use our AI image recognition tool.
  • Send you information about our service (updates, gift reservation notifications).
  • Improve and optimize our application.

3. Data retention

Your Personal Data is retained for the duration of your relationship with us. Profiles inactive for more than 3 years will be deleted in accordance with current regulations, after notifying you. Images sent to our AI for analysis are not retained in a personally identifiable manner beyond the technical processing time.

4. Data sharing

Your data is neither sold nor rented. The data necessary for the operation of Kidilist is stored on our secure servers (Firebase / Google Cloud) located in Europe. Audience measurement data is transmitted to Google Analytics only if you accept this service. Your gift lists are only visible to the people with whom you have explicitly shared your invitation link.

5. Audience measurement

With your consent, the site uses Google Analytics 4 to measure its audience. As long as you have not accepted this service, its script is not loaded. If you accept it, Google Analytics may use cookies and collect information about your browsing (pages visited, interactions, browser, and device). You can refuse or change your choice at any time via the cookie management icon displayed on the site. To learn more about Google's practices, please refer to their privacy policy.

6. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures (encryption, secure access) to protect your Personal Data against unauthorized destruction, loss, alteration, access, or disclosure.

7. Your rights

In accordance with European regulations (GDPR), you have the right to access your Personal Data, to rectify it, to request its deletion, as well as the right to object to its processing or to request its portability.
